T4 models power the front wheels with 187 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, while T5 models are all-wheel-drive and make 248 hp and 258 lb-ft. And if you're looking for an emissions-free solution to your daily drives, there's the XC40 Recharge. Equipped with an electric motor on each axle (combined 402 hp and 487 lb-ft.), this AWD luxury SUV can go from zero to 60 mph in under 4.7 seconds and has an EPA-estimated range of 208 miles.

The Volvo XC40 is also generously equipped, no matter which trim level you select. Standard amenities include leather upholstery, a power liftgate, keyless proximity entry, and an eight-way power driver's seat. Standard tech features include a 12.3-inch Digital Driver Display and a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, all models come with a full suite of IntelliSafe advanced driver-assistance technologies, including:

Volvo XC60

If you need something a little roomier that still maintains a city-friendly physical footprint, consider the Volvo XC60. As a premium compact crossover, the XC60 leverages its increased size to provide more legroom for passengers and up to 63.3 cubic feet for cargo. And in addition to larger dimensions, the XC60 also adds more items to the standard features list, like dual-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker premium audio system.

Three engine options are available, including the robust yet efficient XC60 Recharge plug-in hybrid. All powertrains are based on a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

• T5: The XC60's base 2.0L turbo-four produces 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available as an option.


• T6: The XC60 T6 adds a supercharger in addition to the T5's turbo. The resulting twin-charged powerplant generates 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and comes standard with all-wheel drive.


• Recharge: Previously known as the T8, the XC60 Recharge plug-in hybrid matches the twincharged engine with a rear-axle electric motor for a total output of 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and can travel 19 miles on electric-only power before switching to gas.

Volvo XC90

And if you're shopping for a luxury SUV with extra space and seatbelts for your larger Keller family, the Volvo XC90 is sure to please. A midsize three-row crossover, the XC90 provides roomy accommodations for seven people and up to 85.7 cubic feet of max cargo capacity. And if you don't need the extra seat, available second-row captain's chairs further open up the interior space and provide easy access to the back seats.

The XC90 features the same engine options as the XC60. But as Volvo's flagship SUV, the XC90 adds even more premium amenities as standard equipment. Additional highlights include four-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, and Volvo Pilot Assist with Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering.
