The Volvo XC40 Easily Outclasses Competitors

Comparing luxury SUVs is a great way to figure out which is the right one for you. The Volvo XC40 has been gaining a lot of popularity in the States recently, and it's easy to see why. We're proud to keep these in stock at Autobahn Volvo Cars, bringing you excellent luxury SUVs around Dallas Fort Worth.

The 2021 Volvo XC40 Versus the 2021 Audi Q3

A common feature of luxury SUVs is something like Active Bending Lights on the XC40. These lights "bend" around corners to provide light to the road as you turn a corner. The Q3 lacks this feature, even in an optional package, making your drive home to Keller, TX that much more stressful.

If you should get in an accident, it can be hard to keep track of everything, let alone the brakes. The Audi Q3 requires you to hold the brake down in these situations, but the Volvo XC40 can recognize that an accident has occurred and automatically apply the brakes, letting you take care of you and yours.

The 2021 Volvo XC40 Versus the 2021 BMW X1

Blind Spot Information Systems (BLIS™) are in almost every modern car now, luxury or not. They are a fantastic safety feature to have, giving you an extra set of eyes to watch for dangers that are just out of your sight. This just makes it even more surprising that the BMW X1 does not have this feature, nor is it available in a package.

The XC40 has Cross-Traffic Alert with auto-brake in addition to BLIS™, so if you begin to back out of a parking space in Haltom City, TX and into the path of another car, your Volvo can automatically brake to a stop to prevent a collision. Again, the BMW X1 lacks this important safety feature.

The 2021 Volvo XC40 Versus the 2021 Mercedes GLB

Just because you're looking for a luxury SUV doesn't mean you want to spend money you don't have to. The Mercedes GLB costs several thousand more dollars than the XC40 at its base trim, and yet it lacks many of the features that will make your ride safer and more comfortable.

One of those things is factory-scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles. Your Volvo XC40 will be well taken care of during the time that matters most at no extra cost to you. With the GLB, you have to pay for this maintenance yourself. You'll be paying more to buy the SUV, but also more to own it.

The 2021 Volvo XC40 Versus the 2021 Lexus UX

While the Lexus UX is slightly cheaper than the XC40, it also lacks a lot of the features that make the XC40 such a strong luxury SUV. It has less headroom, no spare tire and no post collision braking assist.

Its exterior mirrors will also not automatically dim to protect you from harsh glare like in the Volvo XC40. Any bright light from headlights, the sun or other lights will be able to blind you just as much as if you stared right at it. These mirrors also don't have power folding on the Lexus UX, which makes it easier to park in tight spaces in the XC40.

A Luxury SUV That's Easy to Love

The Scandinavian luxury of the Volvo XC40 makes it the perfect compact luxury SUV for DFW drivers. Volvo knows how to offer a premium experience in a high-value package without sacrificing the important things in life. You can come see it for yourself at Autobahn Volvo Cars in Fort Worth, TX. We'll be happy to show you what made us fall in love with it.
